A message to our policyholders

With the continued support of our policyholders, The Dentists Insurance Company completed another successful year in 2009. During these challenging economic times we remain focused on our mission, dedicated to organized dentistry and faithful to our strategies. It is this combination that has allowed us to pay policyholder dividends every year since 1989.

News reports about the financial difficulty of numerous insurance carriers have become common. TDIC is proud that AM Best, the nation's leading financial rating firm for the insurance industry, reaffirmed our A (Excellent) rating. This rating recognizes TDIC’s financial strength and its ability to meet ongoing insurance obligations.

As a company founded for dentists, by dentists, we know that you have choices for your insurance and we are very grateful for the trust you place in TDIC. We hope you never suffer a loss. However, if you do and you need to file a claim, you can count on TDIC to provide the support and guidance you deserve as a policyholder and as a dentist.
